Features single-to-double concave bottom for a drivey, predictable feel. Lower entry allows you to get into waves early and gain quick bursts of speed down the line. Good amount of tail rocker bending through the second half of the board makes for a tight turning, top-to-bottom board. Drives of the bottom like a dream and carries it’s speed through turns. An all around performance design that pushes back in waves large and small! A personal favorite.
G4-71 Synthesis
The drivey rocker and predictable bottom contours of the SR-71 with the outline and rails of the more swept back G-4+. A great wintertime and travel performance shorty.
- Ideal Conditions: Shoulder-high to overhead
- Experience: Intermediate to advanced
- Designed to: Lacerate on rail

Introducing the #Monstachiefasym A synthesis of the new asym tail and the beloved Monstachief where the world of battering ram turbo charged hemi meets the extra toe side drive of a longer rail off the bottom and the tighter pivot of a shortened rail on your heel side. The feedback has been over the top positive, and I liken the feel of this board to driving a souped up restored 1960’s era Cobra. Muscle car madness coupled with buttery smooth silk precision that perfectly syncs with your body mechanics and good form for classic power surfing. Just remember whether your goofy foot or regular foot, the long rail goes on the toe side, short rail on your heel side. You’ll be amazed at the natural speed and strength of flow. The one featured is 6’2 1/2” x 20 5/8” x 2 3/4” 39L

Chief Sarlo just got his new custom 8’4” x 22" x 3 3/8" #Monstachiefsurfboard gun for Sunset. A new fuller outlined design to move around the lineup with authority, and a pinch more rocker through the back third of the board to rail up some wide open thickbucket arcs in the bowl. Just in time for the North Shore to roar back to life.

So, I had a vision of thickets and trees on a South African plain; rugged beauty where thorns and thistles could provide shade, an oasis in a dry and weary land … where cool water from subterranean springs mysteriously appears. And that was my inspiration for this resin art.

This is why we build boards the way we do, custom towards the individual and where they want to take their surfing. For honorable, hardworking class folks that are serious about their surfing and appreciate a premium experience that will take their skills to the next level. Everyone is unique and different and more than a height / weight chart amalgamated version of “what the pro’s ride”. We think there’s a far better way than algorithms and automating people. We believe in promoting individual excellence with unparalleled attention to detail. This is Alex from Santa Cruz on a recent Indo trip where he brought a three-pak quiver of Proctors.
Two identical 6’2” x 19 3/8” x 2 5/8” 32.5L #Holyrollersurfboard and this step-up 6’6” x 19 3/8” x 2 3/4” 34.5L #Anteupsurfboard / #Flyinlionsurfboard rocker & bottom.
Here’s his stoked surfer feedback >> just in: “Todd and Charissa, loving the boards!! Got the wave of my dreams in Indo! Be talking to you again soon to get some more.” – Alex

Humbled, honored to make the cover and editorial story of the local Ventura news this week. Celebrating 25 years at our same surfboard factory / showroom location. Where we strive to: “Work hard, stay humble, be grateful and bless others.”…and where we take: “One day at a time, one board at a time, one surfer at a time.”

Fish Project results: And the winner is…fish #3 (the red one) with more tail rocker, the stealthy shallow swallowtail ‘pizza slice’ so you can get your foot way back, the glass-on True Ames twins with small trailer, single-to-double-to-spiral vee hull contour, flat deck, u-deck, with tapered downrails especially thinned out through the fins for bite and responsiveness. I also placed the fin cluster closer together on this one i.e. by moving the front fins further back and the back fin further up to pull a nice tight arc in turns. My buddy Nick and I made a couple super fun days of it on the latest south swell riding all the different iterations of the new performance turbo fishy concepts. I got to have the pleasure of watching my friend do the best surfing I’ve seen in a very long time, and the funny thing is he hasn’t really even surfed in like 2 years as he’s been full tilt working at his custom boat business @rozsa.boats as well as loving on his growing family; it’s such a wonderful thing to see my friend thriving! And to get to see one of the best surfers ever to step foot on a board, paddle out and light it up natural as can be…is also amazing! And after a couple days of laughs and bunches of good rides, the verdict was in, “Todd, the red one is the one, don’t change anything about this board.” 5’7” x 20 5/8” x 2 1/8” 30.5L #trascalsurfboard
