This board I think won the gold medal for out here. It would hold the rail really well in the big bowly sections, and would still hold beautifully coming from a steep into a flatter section, allowing you to generate speed through turns, with a really consistent feel through the whole wave face. –Nick

SHAPER BREAKDOWN
My latest performance shortboard epiphany.
…a new board concept descended from its predecessors the Superabound intertwined with the Procco 20/30.
I first heard of this new board when the voice of God spoke into my mind while Beethoven’s 7th symphony resounded within the walls of my skull…the sounds of each in unison speaking of a board I ought to bring to fruition…and that’s how the first Supernatural was birthed.
The Supernatural shortboard is a culmination of a lifetime’s worth of design concepts poured into this latest high performance shortboard.
It uses a specific ‘break’ in the bend of the rocker that apexes in the back 1/3 of the board, so it can tag the power button of the lip at the same time as it splits open the wave face to draw out the deep power from under the surface. It has an even moderately deep single to inset double concave bottom running the length of the board creating a wide open sweet spot that caters to many different styles and conditions. It reminds me of how God designed waves…a supernatural thing. So I figured let’s thank the Creator for making these wonderful bundles of energy for us to ride upon, by naming a craft after that same creative energy that comes from a place way beyond us and way outside of our fully comprehending.

Supernatural Step-Up
This is a 6’2” x 19 3/8″ x 2 9/16″ 31.5L step-up based off of Nick’s favorite board of a recent trip to Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa – the Supernatural. Wide open sweet spot, caters to front or back footed surfing. Even-single-to-inse- doubles all the way through carrying a constant steady flow especially for a point break. Extremely user friendly with extra rail line for when it’s big.
In my opinion, I believe Todd did some of his best work with these shortboards. I think he hit a new level with these. –Nick
