A high performance average waves board that drives out of gouges with unbridled enthusiasm…disguised as an unassuming beak-nosed throw-back fishy groveller…

I keep getting asked, “Hey, is there any footage of Rozsa on that new trippy little board?” Everybody has missed seeing Nick surf the last few years, as have I. But, as we all know, life has a way of throwing some twists and turns along the way…and sometimes we gotta just buckle down and take care of what’s right in front of us. And sometimes surfing has to take a back seat for awhile. God brings a sweetheart wife and three kids…the true treasures of life. And along with launching a custom boat business…surfing was put on hold.

That was Nick’s story over the last eight years, but over the summer he re-surfaced and wanted to surf …something we all hoped to see eventually with a once in a lifetime natural talent like Nick…so we designed and rode some new fishes called the TRascal.

And then recently we decided to do a more sleeked up fish/ groveller version of it called the ‘Magnum Opus’

seen here, for the pool, and to be a cross-between the glide and drive of a fish mixed with the lightning quick responsiveness, knife and rail draw of a high aspect, kinetic design. We think we might call this first episode “Overweight and outta Shape” because that’s what happens sometimes in life when you get busy with responsibilities…and there’s many a daddy-O’s who can relate to that. This clip is from a few weeks ago when we got a very special call up to go to the pool. At 30lbs over fighting weight, the Rozsa phenom is still undeniable…like riding a bike, the extra lbs and multi-years off, still can’t be shook outta tha guy’s dna. The easy ridin’ little one-of-a-kind board we invented together has rekindled a love for simply goin’ surfin’ …and that’s just what we plan to do more of. After all isn’t that what a board ought to make you wanna do? Stay tuned as the journey unfolds…
