Last weekend, I had a comp up in Huntington and took 2nd place overall.  I was only .15 behind the guy who took 1st.

The boards of choice that day were definitely the  Monsta and Pavote.

The conditions started out good in the early heats and the Monsta was definitely finding the sweet spots!

By the afternoon, the waves had gotten really blown out and small,

    but the Pavote made the surf seem way better than it was.

I was flying past closed out sections and fitting in two to three maneuvers where most were straightening out on the drop or struggling to do a quick maneuver.

  The Pavote just flies over fat and weak sections,

just rocketing into the spot you want to be.

This board is so fast and I am so amazed at how well this board works in the crud!  I definitely attribute this 2nd place finish to Todd’s amazing designs!!
