It was if the board knew what I wanted to do

Hi Charissa & Todd,

Thanks for getting me dialed in with the 6’0″ Hideo, dropping down from the 6’4″ Monsta Chief.

So far, I surfed it in two separate surf sessions. The first session was in soft, knee-to-waist-high waves, and the second session had slightly more energy in waist-to-chest-high surf.

In the first session, I caught just a couple of waves and didn’t get to really push the board to its limits.

The second session was when I really had a chance to run the board through its paces, and,

WOW, shut the door! THE BOARD WAS TOTALLY MENTAL!!!

Fast, loose, plenty of grip, and easy to catch waves.

Of all the boards I owned/surfed, this is by far the most reactive and responsive board I have ever surfed.

At times, I could not keep-up with what the board was prompting me to do.

It was as if the board knew what I wanted to do

well ahead of me actually doing it.

Whoa, how does that happen?

It is because of the genius in Todd and his intuitive way of connecting his designs with the surfers for which he shapes.

The way the board was working for me, there is no doubt in my mind that it will perform well in head-high to slightly overhead surf.

Again, thanks for keeping the stoke alive for me!
