My rascal has been working insane in good waves and in small waves. It took me a little while to get used to the low rocker and full nose since all of the boards that I have been riding prior have short boards. Almost everyday I wake up and check the surf and
90 percent of the time I can take my rascal out and have a blast.
I really like the tail on my board. It has a moon tail but it doesn’t have a severe curve to it. The tail is responsive and fast.
On the wave the board can drive well and you can also punch into the wave or do a snappy cutback.
A few days ago I had a really good session on my board out in front of my house. There were peaky lefts and I would get into the wave early and take a angled drop and fly through all of the sections.
This board, similar to my Monsta, feels really good backside.
Thanks for such a great board and I know I will be coming back for more boards! I also attached some photos of me surfing Rincon a few months ago.
Thanks!
