NICK ROZSA’S HIGH ASPECT TITANIUM II QUIVER

rozsa-t2-quiver

Nick is 5’10” and 170 lbs.

This is one of Nick’s high aspect Titanium II quivers…

handmade composite suspension system construction…

for harnessing new frontiers of spring under his feet, shedding unnecessary weight, while increasing the boards’ strength.

They are all made with a combination of proprietary methods including epoxy foam cores, polymer engineered stringer set-ups (which allow for incredible torsion and flex, yet are stronger than wood stringers), carbon/ kevlar mesh reinforcements strategically placed to adjust the boards’ flex patterns depending on the type of waves and type of surfing Nick wants to achieve. The f.c.s. II system is a perfect fit and works wonderfully in conjunction with his vast arsenal. We still build many prototype and new design ideas for many of his boards out of the traditional polyester construction as well.

(boards in order form left to right)

1) ‘Apache’ :

For the one to three foot days; a fun speeder-booster for making miserable small waves fun; but works in anything else too. 5’4″ x 19 3/8″ x 1 5/8″ (concave deck).

2 u0026amp; 3) ‘Da Monsta’ :

One of Nick’s favorites in typical Cali conditions from knee high to slightly overhead beachbreaks and point surf. 5’7″ x 19″ x 2 1/4″. The shorter length, fuller outline and full boxy rails fit it well into the energy source of your typical average kinda waves.

4) G-4+ :

Go to shortboard for anything ranging from waist high and halfway decent to overhead and really good. The most versatile shortboard for all conditions. 5’9″ x 18 1/2″ x 2 1/4+. A well-rounded design for on rail gouging, but likes to release fins and do airs too….this design does it all. The flared carbon kevlar mesh top and bottom gives the board a stiffer feel through the mid while allowing the nose and tail to bend and warp a bit more kinda like a snowboard concept, but for waves.

5) ‘Apex’ :

This is a good airboard with lots of speed down the line and likes to project out of the lip. 5’9″ x 18 1/2″ x 2 1/4″+.

6) another G-4+

duplicate with center polymer stringer alignment. 5’9″ x 18 1/2″ x 2 1/4+.

7) Supertyphoon :

A good waves board for those epic days or travel. Lots of rocker lots of concave. 5’10” x 18 1/2″ x 2 5/16″. Rails are a bit more low and knifey than the other boards for good bite in the wave face. This one likes to do it all too….goliath turns, airs, barrels, fins out, etc….the ‘does everthing’ board for good conditions.
